Privacy notice
Updated 26 October 2026 · Version 5
This notice distinguishes what the preview does now from the information a future purchase would use. Payments are closed and no purchase details are being collected through the preview form.
1. Who is responsible
1414 is an independent art project initiated by Clon.X and manages the project data described in this notice. Privacy contact: support@1414.fyi.
2. What happens in this preview
The name and message you type are processed in your browser to draw the preview. Downloading the PNG creates a file on your device; it does not upload the image, send the form to our server, create an order or record the checkbox selection. This project does not store those fields in cookies, local storage or session storage.
The public-display checkbox currently demonstrates the intended choice. It is not sent or saved as purchase consent. The language choice is kept in the page URL, not in a preference cookie.
This project has not added advertising pixels, visitor analytics or marketing-email tools. Page assets are served from the site, and text uses fonts already available on the visitor’s device rather than an external font service. This does not mean the hosting platform processes no information: providing the site and controlling access to the private preview can involve connection, device, authentication and security data under the platform’s own arrangements.
3. What a future purchase would use
The planned participation record includes a receipt number, amount and currency, the chosen name and message, order and payment status, applicable transaction references, relevant timestamps, and the applicable consent records. These serve delivery, public display, payment reconciliation, support, fraud prevention and required record-keeping under applicable requirements.
Public fields will include the receipt number, completion status, amount and currency, participation sequence, chosen name, message and completion time. Internal order and payment references will not be published in the participation list or public receipt API. A pseudonym makes the displayed name less identifying; it does not make a paid transaction anonymous.
Stripe is the intended payment processor. Stripe Checkout will collect payment details on its secure page and return the transaction information needed to confirm delivery. 1414 will not receive or store your full card details. Do not send a card number, banking password or verification code in a message.
4. Public display and external links
Public participation is intended to be visible to other visitors and shareable. Names and messages may contain personal information even if they are short. Use a name or pseudonym you want displayed, and publish only information you are entitled to share. The message is optional.
A link in a participant’s message leads to that person’s chosen website when you follow it. That website has its own data practices; its inclusion is not our approval. We do not fetch participant links to generate a preview.
A lawful removal or correction on this site cannot guarantee deletion of copies, screenshots, search-engine records or reposts held by other people. Downloaded files remain on the devices where they were saved.
5. Providers, retention and international handling
The preview is hosted through ChatGPT Sites. If payments open, Stripe is the intended payment provider. Hosting, access control, security and payment providers may process the information needed to provide their part of the service under their own terms and the project’s service arrangements.
Information is kept only for as long as needed for delivery, public display, support, security, dispute handling and applicable record-keeping. Transaction records may need to be kept separately from the optional public name and message; removing public content does not require deleting a record that must still be kept.
6. Your choices and requests
Depending on the applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or erase information, object to or restrict certain uses, withdraw consent, receive a portable copy, or complain to the relevant privacy authority. These rights are subject to the conditions in that law. Withdrawing consent does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful.
Privacy requests can be sent to support@1414.fyi. We may ask for only the information reasonably needed to verify and handle a request. There is currently no account-deletion or request-processing form in this preview. We will not ask for passwords or full card details to handle a privacy request.
Removing a name or message from public display is separate from any refund question. Where a transaction must be kept for a legal reason, that does not mean its optional public message must remain visible forever.
7. Updates
We will update this notice before connecting payments, accepting public messages or adding a new use of information. Changes will be dated and any notice or consent required by law will be obtained.
